Learn to knit the Penny Gloves by PetiteKnit in this three-part workshop! These cozy fingerless gloves are a great project for learning magic loop and working a small project in the round.

Over three sessions, we’ll learn how to knit using the magic loop technique, put stitches on hold for the thumb, and work through the construction of the gloves from start to finish.

Materials

Approximately 150 yards of sport or DK weight yarn. We used two balls of Cardiff Cashmere for our sample.

You can purchase your materials at the beginning of the first class, so there’s no need to come in early or stop by before the first session to shop. If you already have suitable yarn and needles at home, you’re welcome to bring them with you.

Needles

US 2.5 / 3 mm, 32" circular needle for magic loop.

Skill level - Intermediate

Students should be comfortable knitting and purling and have knit in the round before. No previous magic loop experience is required.
