Ready to knit your first pair of socks? Join Eldra Avery for this four-week class where you’ll learn how to knit socks using the magic loop method. Eldra will guide you step by step through the process, helping you understand the construction of a sock while building the skills you need to knit many more pairs in the future.

If you can't make it to a session, Eldra has office hours to catch you up!

This class is best suited for knitters who are comfortable with basic knit and purl stitches and are ready to try knitting in the round using the magic loop technique.

Materials are not included.

Materials needed:
• 1 skein of sock weight yarn (around 400 yards)
• Needles to match your yarn within the US 0–1.5 range
• 40" cable length circular needles

If you need help choosing materials, please plan to arrive about 20 minutes early and we’ll be happy to help you shop before class begins.
