Spend an afternoon crocheting with Caroline Langford and learn how to make the Everyday Floral Granny Square Trivet — a sweet, practical project you’ll want to make on repeat.
This design is worked in 6 rounds and uses mostly basic stitches to create a floral center framed by a classic granny square. It’s quick, satisfying, and a great way to play with color. We’ll be making a trivet in class, but the same square can easily turn into a blanket, scarf, sweater, bag, or anything else that calls for granny squares.
All materials are included — yarn, crochet hook, and a printed pattern — so you can just show up and stitch.
Skill level: This isn’t a learn-to-crochet class. You’ll need to already know how to crochet and be comfortable with single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet.
Come hang out, learn something new, and leave with a finished piece (and a pattern you’ll use again and again).
